01How files are handled
Uploaded files travel over HTTPS, are converted in server memory or a temporary directory, and both source and output files are deleted from the server immediately after the result is delivered. OKfmt offers no file storage, history, or recycle bin; no user file remains recoverable on the server.
ZIP packaging for batch conversion runs entirely in your browser and never transits the server. Files imported by URL are fetched by the server on your behalf and follow the same delete-after-conversion rule.
02What data is collected
OKfmt has no account system and collects no identity information such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers. Server access logs record request time, IP address, HTTP status code, and byte count for capacity planning and incident diagnosis; they are retained for 30 days and then purged automatically.
The service uses no third-party behavioral analytics and provides neither user files nor access data to any third party.
03Image metadata
Image conversion strips EXIF metadata by default, including camera model, shooting parameters, and GPS coordinates. A "Keep EXIF" checkbox on conversion pages is the only opt-in: output files carry shooting parameters only when you explicitly enable it. Image orientation is always normalized from the EXIF flag and never carried back into the output.
04Cookies and tracking
The site uses only the technical storage required to remember your interface language. Because no advertising is shown, there are no advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Static assets such as fonts are served through a public CDN, whose operator may log asset requests under its own policy.
05Changes and contact
Any change to this policy is published on this page, and material changes are announced on the homepage. Questions or deletion requests can be submitted through the official channel listed on the contact page.
