About HTML to Markdown conversion
HTML is a hypertext markup language for web pages defined by WHATWG, which can be rendered directly by browsers. MD is a lightweight plain-text markup language released in 2004, mostly used for content writing. The need for this conversion arises when extracting web page content into plain text writing content.
This conversion completely retains heading levels 1 to 6, GFM standard tables, code blocks, link texts and addresses. Inline styles in the original HTML cannot be defined in MD, so they are not retained. The output conforms to the GFM extension specification.
The conversion result can be used for GitHub document writing, static site content entry, and note tool content import, and supports all Markdown rendering tools and versions compatible with the GFM specification.

FAQ about HTML → Markdown
Will content quality change after conversion
There is no quality loss for core text and structure information. Inline styles of the original HTML cannot be defined in Markdown, so style information is not retained. The output content conforms to the general GFM specification.
Can tables from the original HTML be retained
They can be fully retained. The conversion output follows the GFM extended table specification, supports alignment definition, and meets the Markdown format requirements of GitHub and mainstream static sites.
What is the single file size limit
The upper limit for a single file is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. The server will directly reject processing of files exceeding this size limit.
Will uploaded files be stored
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is completed, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, and does not store any files.
