About JSON to YAML conversion
JSON is a key-value text interchange format that follows the RFC 8259 standard. It only supports six basic data types and does not support comments. YAML is an indentation-based serialization format that follows the 1.2 standard, supports anchor references, and is the common format for Kubernetes configurations. This conversion meets the requirement of configuration file format adaptation.
The output YAML is usually smaller in size than the original JSON. All numeric values, booleans, nested structures and key names from the original JSON are fully preserved. JSON does not natively support comments, so no comments can be retained. The original JSON data is completely mapped to the YAML indentation structure according to its hierarchy.
The output of this conversion conforms to the YAML 1.2 standard. It can be directly used for Kubernetes 1.x cluster configuration and Docker Compose configuration file writing, adapts to all mainstream CI/CD workflows, and the output can be used without secondary format adjustment.

FAQ about JSON → YAML
Will the output structure have errors after conversion
If the original JSON structure is valid, the output YAML structure will completely match the original data. Structural consistency can be verified with official YAML validation tools, and no structural deviation occurs.
Will original JSON comments be preserved
The official JSON specification does not support comments, so standard JSON does not contain comment content. Non-standard comments cannot be preserved in standard YAML, and the output only includes data that conforms to the specification.
What is the file size limit
The upper limit for a single file conversion is 50MB, and only one file can be processed per conversion. Files exceeding the limit will be rejected by the system, and you need to split the file before resubmitting.
Will my files be stored
The conversion is completed on the server side. Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS, and the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file after conversion completes, no storage is performed.
