About TOML to JSON conversion
TOML is a key-value table format designed for configuration scenarios, natively supports date types, and is used in Cargo.toml and pyproject.toml. JSON is a general-purpose key-value array interchange format, supports only six basic data types, and does not support comments or native date types. Scenario differences between the two formats create conversion demand.
This conversion retains all key names, numeric values, booleans and nested structures. TOML date types are converted to standard date strings in JSON format. JSON does not natively support comments, so comments in TOML are removed during conversion, and the output is a standard RFC 8259-compatible JSON structure.
This conversion is commonly used to read project configurations, adapt to development scripts that only support JSON parsing, or export configurations from pyproject.toml and Cargo.toml to JSON tools for secondary processing. Please confirm that the source file is encoded in UTF-8 before conversion.

FAQ about TOML → JSON
Will data be lost after conversion
Structural data will not be lost. Only TOML comments are removed, and dates are converted to standard date strings for storage. The converted JSON conforms to the RFC 8259 specification and can be read by any standard JSON parser.
Can TOML dates be retained
Date information can be fully retained. During conversion, native TOML dates are converted to standard date strings in JSON format, without modifying the numeric content of the date itself.
What is the maximum file size supported
The single-file size limit is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. Files exceeding the size limit will be rejected by the system.
Will source files be stored
Conversion is completed on the server side, and files are uploaded via HTTPS. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes the source file and output file, and does not store any files.
