About VTT to ASS conversion
VTT is the native HTML5 web subtitle standard released by W3C in 2010. Designed for embedded web subtitles, it only supports basic styling. ASS is an advanced subtitle format that supports complex styles and effects, required for local playback and special effect subtitle scenarios, which creates the demand for VTT to ASS conversion.
The converted output file is larger than the source VTT file. Timecodes retain the original millisecond-level precision. Basic style tags and position information from VTT are converted to corresponding ASS style parameters. Advanced effects such as karaoke that are not included in VTT cannot be generated.
The converted ASS subtitle can be used in desktop players such as PotPlayer and VLC, and also adapts to workflows in video editing software such as CapCut and Premiere Pro. Only files with a single file size not exceeding 50MB can be submitted for conversion.

Will video quality change after conversion
This conversion only processes subtitle text and parameters, does not involve video frame content, and will not change the quality of the original video. The output is only an ASS subtitle file.
Will time precision be retained
Original time precision will be retained. VTT natively uses the hh:mm:ss.mmm millisecond-level timecode format, and the converted ASS will fully retain this time precision.
What is the file size limit
The maximum single file size for this tool is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. Files exceeding the size limit cannot be submitted for processing.
Will uploaded files be stored
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, and does not store any files.
