About HEIC to PNG conversion
HEIC is the HEVC encoding implementation of HEIF. It has been the default photo format for iPhone iOS 11+ since 2017, with a file size about 50% of JPG at the same quality, but has poor native support across multiple operating systems. PNG is a lossless DEFLATE compression format released in 1996, and is a common format for general web and design use, which creates demand for HEIC to PNG conversion.
After conversion, the full lossless compression property of PNG is retained. Transparency channels and full bit depth information contained in the original HEIC can be fully preserved, and EXIF metadata is retained by default. Converted files have a larger size than HEIC files of the same image quality, which is an inherent property of the PNG compression mechanism.
This conversion is suitable for scenarios such as opening HEIC photos on systems older than Windows 10, native preview on Android versions older than 8, graphic design asset delivery, and web screenshot asset production. Conversion results are directly compatible with most design software and browsers.

FAQ about HEIC → PNG
Will image quality be lost after conversion
No image quality is lost during conversion. This tool uses the Sharp engine for processing. PNG uses a lossless compression mechanism, which can fully retain all pixel information from the original HEIC image.
Will transparency channels be preserved
If the original HEIC file contains transparency channel information, the converted PNG will fully retain this information, and can be used normally in scenarios that require transparent backgrounds.
What is the single file size limit
The maximum single file size for conversion with this tool is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. You must wait for the current conversion to complete before uploading a new file.
Will converted files be stored
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion completes, the server immediately deletes the source file and output file, and does not store any files.
