About LRC to SRT conversion

LRC is a centisecond-level timestamp format for lyrics that supports multiple timestamps per line, with no definition of end time. SRT is a general plain-text subtitle format that uses millisecond-level timecodes, requires start and end times for each subtitle line, and has the widest compatibility with players and editing software.

There is no significant change in file size after conversion. The end time for a line without one in the source LRC is calculated by our self-developed parser based on the start time of the next line. Time precision is aligned from centiseconds to milliseconds. No extra information is added after conversion since the source LRC contains no style or position information.

The converted SRT can be imported into editing software such as剪映 and Premiere Pro to add subtitles, and works with common players on Windows, macOS and mobile devices. The tool processes only one file per conversion.

FAQ about LRC → SRT

Does quality change after conversion

All original lyric text content is fully preserved. Only missing subtitle end times are calculated and added, time precision is aligned from centiseconds to milliseconds, and no extra information is added. No content distortion occurs.

Will karaoke timing be preserved

For the karaoke segment effect implemented with multiple timestamps per line in LRC, each segment is converted to an independent SRT subtitle entry, so all original time segment information is fully preserved.

What is the upload file size limit

This tool sets a 50MB size limit per single file, processes only one file per conversion, the service is free of charge, and output files have no watermarks.

Are uploaded files stored

Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion completes, the server immediately deletes both the source file and output file, and does not store any files.
