About PDF to PNG conversion
PDF was released by Adobe in 1993, and became the open ISO 32000 standard in 2008. It is a standard for document layout exchange. PNG was released in 1996, uses DEFLATE lossless compression, supports alpha channels, and is a lossless static image format. This conversion extracts PDF pages into editable individual images.
This conversion is processed based on the Sharp engine. It retains the original quality of embedded images in PDF, performs no additional recompression, preserves 8-bit alpha channels and 48-bit color depth of output PNG. The extracted PNG has a larger file size than the corresponding embedded image in the original PDF, and retains the original EXIF metadata of the page.
It is suitable for converting single pages of PDF documents into web images and design materials. The conversion result can be opened directly in all mainstream operating systems and browsers. The exported PNG is compatible with most design software and image viewing tools on mobile devices.

FAQ about PDF → PNG
Will there be quality loss after conversion?
Embedded JPG/PNG in PDF will not be recompressed, so there is no quality loss. PNG generated from extracted PDF pages uses DEFLATE lossless compression, and will not reduce the original image quality.
Will alpha channels be preserved?
Transparency information in PDF pages is preserved. The output PNG retains a complete 8-bit alpha channel, and can be directly used for design scenarios that require transparent backgrounds.
What is the single file size limit?
The maximum size for a single file on this tool is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. This meets the page conversion requirements of most conventional documents.
Will my files be stored?
Conversion is completed server-side. Files are uploaded via HTTPS, and the server immediately deletes both the source file and output file after conversion completes, no storage is performed.
