About PSD to JPG conversion
PSD is a proprietary layered document for Adobe Photoshop launched in 1990. JPG is a lossy compressed image format based on DCT released by the JPEG organization in 1992. This conversion requirement arises because general-purpose devices cannot directly read PSD layered structures and need output in a universal format.
This conversion extracts the merged preview stored when Maximize Compatibility is enabled in the PSD to generate JPG. The original layered structure is discarded, and alpha channels are not preserved. The maximum pixel count of the output matches the original file, the output file size is smaller than the original PSD, and compression quality can be adjusted as needed.
It is suitable for scenarios that require converting PSD source files into thumbnails viewable on any device, social media images, etc. It only converts a single composite result, does not support exporting individual layers separately, and output files can be read by all image viewing software.

FAQ about PSD → JPG
How does conversion affect image quality
JPG uses lossy compression, and compression quality is customizable. Low compression quality produces noticeable compression artifacts, and repeated saving accumulates artifacts. The degree of original image information retention is lower than that of the original PSD file.
What content is used to generate the JPG
The conversion uses the full-layer merged preview stored when Maximize Compatibility is enabled in the PSD as the generation source. It is not possible to extract content from a single layer to generate the output file.
What is the maximum single file size
The single file size limit for conversion on this site is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. Files exceeding the limit will be rejected. This service is free of charge.
Will my files be stored
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, and does not store any files, protecting user file privacy.
