About PSD to PNG conversion
PSD is a proprietary layered document format for Adobe Photoshop released in 1990, which stores design content in a proprietary layered structure. PNG is a bitmap format released in 1996, uses DEFLATE lossless compression, supports alpha channels, and is a general-purpose standard format for design deliverables and screenshots. Files converted to PNG can be opened and viewed without Adobe Photoshop installed.
This conversion extracts the merged composite preview image embedded in the PSD file to generate PNG, retains the full 8-bit alpha channel, preserves all pixels of the original preview, maintains full image quality, and outputs a lossless compressed PNG file. Conversion can be completed as long as the PSD is saved with the Maximize Compatibility option enabled.
The converted PNG can be opened directly in all mainstream operating systems, design software, and browsers. It is suitable for scenarios such as design preview sharing, web interface element export, and mobile UI asset production. Single file size must not exceed 50MB.

FAQ about PSD → PNG
Will image quality be lost after conversion
No image quality is lost after conversion. The output uses PNG DEFLATE lossless compression, fully retains all pixel information of the original merged preview in the PSD, and the output file has no watermarks.
Can PSD layers be preserved
The PSD layered structure cannot be preserved after conversion. This service only extracts the merged preview stored when Maximize Compatibility is enabled in the PSD to generate the PNG file.
What is the size limit for a single file
The single file size limit for this conversion is 50MB, and only one file can be converted at a time. Files exceeding the limit will be rejected.
Will my files be stored
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, and does not store any files.
