About JPG to PDF conversion
JPG is a lossy image format based on DCT discrete cosine transform released by the JPEG organization in 1992. PDF is a document page layout format released by Adobe in 1993 and became an open ISO standard in 2008. Users often need to organize single or multiple JPG images into PDF for archiving and distribution.
Raw JPG data is embedded directly into PDF, no secondary compression is performed during conversion, and existing compression artifacts are retained. JPG does not support alpha channels or animation, so the output PDF also does not contain corresponding content. PDF page parameters can be adjusted to match the original dimensions of the JPG.
Converted PDF files can be used for archiving academic paper illustrations, organizing office documents, and submitting for print publication. All major operating systems and browsers can open the files directly, making them suitable for cross-device sharing and display without requiring dedicated image viewing tools.

FAQ about JPG → PDF
Will image quality degrade after conversion?
Image quality will not be reduced during conversion. When embedding JPG into PDF, the original image data is not secondary compressed, retains the original JPG quality, and does not add new compression artifacts.
Is the alpha channel preserved?
The alpha channel is not preserved. The JPG format itself does not support alpha channels, so the converted PDF cannot generate transparency that does not exist in the original format.
What is the maximum single file size limit?
The maximum size for a single file is 50MB. Only one file can be converted per conversion. This service is free of charge, output files have no watermarks, and no account registration is required.
Do you store my files?
We do not store any files. Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, no storage is performed.
