About MP4 to AVI conversion
MP4 is a common MPEG-4 Part 14 container that supports faststart front-loaded indexing. AVI is a RIFF container introduced by Microsoft in 1992 that does not support the faststart mechanism. Many older devices such as surveillance DVRs and dash cams only support AVI format input.
Conversion is completed based on FFmpeg, preserves the original video resolution, frame rate and original audio information. Output video quality is controlled via the CRF constant quality mode, and output file size varies in different ranges depending on the source encoding and output parameters.

Will video quality decrease after conversion
Quality changes are determined by the CRF parameter setting. Selecting a lower CRF value produces higher output quality. The conversion process requires re-encoding, so normal encoding loss occurs.
Does conversion preserve the original audio track
The tool preserves the original file audio track by default, adapts to the AVI container packaging rules, does not remove valid audio track information from the original video, and outputs a video file with an audio track.
What is the single file size limit
This tool supports a maximum single file size of 50MB, and processes only one file per conversion. The maximum video duration is 10 minutes, and files exceeding the limit cannot be submitted for processing.

Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. The server immediately deletes both the source file and output file after conversion completes, no storage is performed, so user privacy is guaranteed.
