About MP4 to MP3 conversion
MP4 is the MPEG-4 Part 14 multimedia container that can encapsulate both video and audio tracks; MP3 is the MPEG-1/2 Layer III lossy audio encoding standardized in 1993. This conversion extracts audio tracks from MP4 and re-encodes them into MP3, meeting the requirement of keeping only audio content.
The output MP3 bitrate can be adjusted freely between 64kbps and 320kbps. It preserves the original ID3 metadata tags, the output file size is much smaller than the original MP4, and the sample rate and channel count match the basic parameters of the original audio.
This conversion is suitable for extracting background music from video clips, creating audio podcasts, and extracting audio files for older mobile devices. The output is compatible with all hardware and software that supports MP3 playback, and no additional watermarks are added to output files.

FAQ about MP4 → MP3
Will audio quality decrease after conversion
When outputting at 320kbps, the difference in quality is not easily perceptible to the human ear. Choosing a lower bitrate will reduce audio quality. Since MP3 itself is a lossy encoding, the conversion process will introduce secondary encoding loss.
Will original file metadata be preserved
ID3 metadata tags embedded in the original MP4 file can be preserved, and the conversion does not modify tag content. If the original file does not carry relevant tags, the output MP3 will not have corresponding metadata.
What is the single file size limit
The maximum upload size per file for this service is 50MB, and the maximum duration of the input MP4 video is 10 minutes. Files exceeding these specifications cannot be processed.
Will my files be stored and retained
Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS for conversion. After conversion is complete, the server immediately deletes both the source file and the output file, and does not store any files.
