About ASS to TXT conversion

ASS is a professional subtitle format that supports full styling and effects, standardized for subtitle groups and effect subtitles. TXT is unformatted plain text that works with all devices and text editing tools. Users require ASS to TXT conversion when extracting pure dialogue text.

The output file after conversion is smaller than the original ASS file. Only the dialogue text from the original ASS is retained; all timecodes, style tags, position information, and karaoke effects are removed, and no other content is kept.

The conversion result is compatible with all text editors on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. It can be used for dialogue organization, dialogue extraction, and content retrieval workflows. The converted result cannot be restored to a subtitle file with time information.
