VTT is the native standard subtitle format for HTML5 <track> developed by W3C, and is widely natively supported by web players. This creates the demand for converting ASS to VTT.
The converted output file is smaller than the original ASS file. Timestamps retain their original precision and comply with the hh:mm:ss.mmm format requirement. Basic position information and styles can be converted to corresponding VTT tags. Special ASS effects such as karaoke cannot be preserved in the output file.

Does subtitle quality change after conversion
Basic subtitle content and timestamp precision are not affected. Complex ASS effects cannot be preserved. The output is W3C-standard compliant VTT format subtitles that can be used directly for native web playback.
Can ASS styles be preserved
Basic font color and position information from ASS can be converted to corresponding VTT style tags. Rotation and karaoke effects from ASS cannot be preserved, as VTT does not natively support these types of effects.
What is the maximum single file size limit
This site only supports one file per conversion. The maximum single file size is 50MB. Files exceeding the size limit cannot be submitted for conversion processing.
Are files stored after conversion
Conversion is completed server-side. Files are uploaded to the server via HTTPS. After conversion completes, the server immediately deletes both the source file and output file, and does not store any files.
